New Covers Bands Added

We have had a very busy last two weeks what with wedding planning and various other stuff. We have a date now which seems a long way off but I’m sure it’ll get here really quickly! We’ve also booked the vicar. Do you book a vicar? We’ve unfortunately lost the use of the field we had planned to put the marquee in but I’m sure we’ll find another one somewhere. If there is one thing England has it’s fields! So not a bad week… Date + Vicar – Venue = 2 steps forward one step back!

We’ve also completely redesigned The Band Boutique site to make bands and acts more easy to find. In rebuilding we’ve added a few new covers bands.

Shuga Kube

london wedding band
A funky London based covers band with a great sound offering differing line ups from 5-piece all the way up to 8 with a great horn section and male and female vocals. They can cover all sorts of modern and classic music and play the best in rock, pop, funk, and soul. Check the band out on their page.

Scarlett Smile

I found out about Scarlett Smile when their fantastic vocalist, was a guest of some friends, to mine and Laura’s engagement party.

The members of Mister Kanish and One By One were having a spontaneous jam in my parents conservatory to entertain our guests…

mega jam

…then Rachel got up to sing and I was blown away by her range and energy.

I found out she played in a great covers band and asked if they would join the agency…

Here they are…

The band play a good mix of pop, rock, funk and soul from the 50’s to today. Have a listen to their versions of Nutbush City Limits, I Feel Good and Superstition on their page.
