Popularity of bands and acts such as Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers and Avicii have got people in the festival spirit and wedding trends are definitely reflecting this. We can’t count the number of enquiries we get each week for a Mumford and Sons style wedding band which is lucky as we believe we have the best in the UK. Classic Kanish were one of the first Mumford and Sons / festival styled wedding bands in the UK. They offer two distinct styles making them great for a wedding with a festival theme. It’s like having two great bands in one. One representing the folky Lumineers style festival vibe and the other for the more Foo Fighters / The Killers sound.
The bands festival style setlist includes hits from Avicci, Coolio, Daft Punk, Britney Spears, Mumford and Sons and more. Each song is tailored and arranged to suit the array of instruments the band use which include, violin, banjo, double bass, acoustic guitars and drums. They also offer four great male vocalists which add to the sing a long festival vibe. The band offer up to 3.5 hours of live music for a wedding which includes both styles of music. They can also offer evening packages of just folk style or just rock and pop styles.

Festival Sounds – The Perfect Festival Wedding Band
Festival Sounds have been playing together as a rocking indie wedding band for years. During 2013 they added a more folky set to their repertoire and, for them, it has been non stop bookings ever since!! The guys offer a great mix of music with their standard service including one hour of folky music and one of our indie, rock and pop. The folk instrumentation includes double bass, banjo, ukelele, acoustic guitars, male vocals and drums.

The BL4 – Scotlands Number One Banjo Led Wedding Band.
Based in Edinburgh, The BL4 are Scotlands first choice for a festival wedding band. They offer fun arrangements of popular tunes including hits from The Prodigy, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Prince and Dolly Parton. The band are a fully contained quartet with double bass, banjo, acoustic guitar and drums.

London Acoustic Project – Acoustic Wedding Entertainment
This London based acoustic band offer a variety of different line-ups to suit budgets and wedding styles. They also offer a full on electric rock, pop and funk band. For their more Mumford and Sons style they offer either a small set-up of acoustic guitar, trumpet, percussion and male and female vocals or a larger setup including full drums and double bass.

What makes this band great is their ability to wander while playing. It works very well during a photo hour or drinks reception to have a band of musicians wandering between groups of guests playing to them specifically. It is very interactive and can create a really good party atmosphere before the band rock up and play their evening reception set.

Victoriano – Vintage Style Band
Hampshire based Victoriano are definitely something special. With a fantastic line-up of talented musicians and male and female vocals the band appeal to a wide range of guests and can offer a large range of music. They are one of our only Mumford and Sons styled bands with keys and female vocals which makes them stand out from the crowd.

Their standard set times include 2 x45mins of vintage styled music. They, like all of our bands, offer recorded music between sets and all equipment included. Although the band are based in Hampshire they are happy to travel for any wedding or party.
